Ummid for Safety
SEWA-AIFW is honored to host our 2nd annual "Ummid for Safety" event, during Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April. As a South Asian organization committed to preventing gender-based violence across our communities and diaspora, we are hoping to celebrate ourselves and our community through mediums of art, writing, and immersive healing experiences.
We are hosting this event on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, from 12-5 PM.
RSVPing is mandatory.
This event is free to all community members.




Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)
April is a Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), this month, we support advocates, survivors, their families, and the community unite to engage in open dialogue about sexual violence.
SEWA-AIFW brings to you SAIL (Stay Active & Independent for life)
In collaboration with Juniper, SEWA-AIFW brings to you SAIL (Stay Active & Independent for life). Please join us for this strength, balance and fitness program.

SEWA-AIFW invites you to a sensory and family friendly bowling event
April is nationally recognized as Autism Acceptance Month, to celebrate, truly support and foster acceptance and respect towards individuals with autism.
As an organization geared towards facilitating total family wellness in the South Asian diaspora, SEWA is committed to making our programming more accessible, thoughtful, inclusive, and supportive for South Asian people with autism and neurodiverse communities in general.
Our monthly support program, SAPNA, will be hosting a special event on Sunday, April 6 from 5-7 PM, for a sensory and family friendly bowling event at Park Tavern.
Please join us with your families to uplift our community, build connections, and share experiences with each other.

SAPNA Monthly Events
SEWA-AIFW is hosting SAPNA (South Asian Persons of Neurodiverse Abilities) events.
Every 1st Saturday of the month - Parents support group along with social skills format group for ASD/Neurodivergent youth as well as youth programs group for siblings.
Timings: 12pm - 2 pm (timings could vary)
Every 2nd, 3rd and 4th Saturday of the month - Individual academic and behavior support for ASD/Neurodivergent youth.
Timings: 2pm - 4pm (timings could vary)
